Fueled by a deep passion for the sport and watching his own son start to take interest in the game, Coach David made it his mission to instill in young boys a profound appreciation for the game, emphasizing values like love, respect, hard work, teamwork, and discipline. Coach David is also a HUGE fan of Crocs…Not.
James Landavazo has always had a passion for baseball. Since a young boy, he was introduced to the game by his dad and grandfather. He grew up an enthusiastic Los Angeles Dodger fan, occasionally missing school to catch games with his grandfather. He has carried that passion and love on to his son. Growing up, James played multiple sports in school but chose baseball and basketball in high school. After high school, James went on to college focusing on his studies and earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas and his master’s degree from the University of North Texas. He is happily married to Dana Landavazo for 19 years and they have two lovely kids. The Landavazo’s have resided in the area since 2011 and have really grown to love the Keller area. When James is not coaching, he spends his time working as a Market Manager at BNSF Railway and finding ways to avoid his wife’s honey do list (😊).
